I’m Nicolás Ruge, Learning Experience Designer with more than 4 years of experience in the field. I started my professional career in 2012, working in the creative industry as an art director and commercial photographer. By 2018, during my university years, I discovered what I am most passionate about; the mix between design and education working together to convey knowledge in an effective and resourceful way.
What I do:
I develop engaging and meaningful learning experiences designed to provide high value to the target audience and the client, responding to real needs with practical and creative solutions.
How I do it:
I firmly believe that each phase of the process is equally significant. Being composed, broadly speaking, by (1) the planning of a learning strategy based on the educational objectives, the client needs and an specific target segment with particular characteristics, (2) a structured development with defined time goals, assuring a fluid communication between the members of the project, (3) and an evaluation process that trully measures the success of the learning material, the user experience and any aspect that can be further improved. My approach is heavily influenced by educational theories such as ADDIE, SAM and the Kirkpatrick Model.
