Learning Strategy
The primary objective for this project is to create a high-fidelity prototype of what would be a learning module included in the existing app that Sanitas customers have access to. This section would be called "Learning with Sanitas." To carry out this project, I had the opportunity to work with the company training team, who were in charge of compiling the content of this module, which I later adapted to a more compact and “narrated” format style.
Design and Development
Something that was very clear to me when designing this module was that it should not only follow the same line of design as the app, but also the same copywriting that Sanitas uses; very oriented towards a universal audience, with a broad age range, making sure that both a young person and an older adult are capable of fully understanding it. The challenge would be to be able to explain in a simple way the fundamental concepts covered by the topic of nutrition and macronutrients. The content is structured in the following way:
1. Introduction
2. What is Nutrition
3. Types of Food
4. Evaluation False or True
5. Macronutrients
6. Final evaluation
7. Final slide
The most challenging part about this project was that the development was completely under my responsibility, and the deadline was close, so I had to focus on being efficient in replicating the functionality of the app's interface by using Storyline 360 as the main software for the development, along with Figma. On the other hand, I really enjoyed drawing most of the foods shown in the module.
Even though this material was given for free to the customers that have a medical plan with Sanitas, in order to ensure and measure the acquired knowledge, it was critical to include evaluation activities, granting greater retention of the topic, as well as making this a more immersive learning experience.
Implementation and results
The client involved in this project liked the finished result of this prototype, which will be used as a basis to create more content for this section of the app and probably to reform its training process for new employees.
